In Piedras Negras it is possible to enjoy different tourist and recreational activities to the maximum, among these are extreme sports, hunting, fishing, ecotourism and visiting historical places that narrate the life of Coahuila from his origins.

In Piedras Negras you’ll find anything you need to perform all the activities in your mind so that nobody remains without knowing and enjoying unforgettable times of relaxation and coexistence with the nature.

HUNTING

One of the most important recreational activities in the North region of Coahuila is hunting, because of the existence of more than one hundred different species, which count in addition on national and international recognition for its great quality.

In this state the sport hunting is practiced in more than 530 farms UMAS (Units of Handling and Advantage of the Wild Life), of which different categories exist, from resorts to small towns; most of them located in the North zone of Coahuila.

All the organizers of this sport practice facilitate the necessary proceedings and permissions for it.

Of the most important species that you can take advantage of between hair and feathers, are the texan white tail deer, bura deer, bear, puma, turkey, birds and small mammals.

The hunting season of the white tail deer begins in December and finishes in January.
The hunting season of puma goes from December to half month of April and for the different bird species goes from October until February.

FISHING

In rivers like Rio Grande and the damns Amistad and Don Martín, sport fishing is seen widely favored, but also rafting.

Within the immense territory of the North region of Coahuila exists a beautiful and varied geography, ideal for the practice of the adventure sports and the alternative tourism.

ECOTOURISM

Great mountains, caves, mighty rivers and desert, are some of the natural attractions that the state has.

Mountain scaling, rappel, bicycle and long walk are activities that can be made in the mountain and elevations that abound in this land, also surrounded by canyons and caves to make to perform speleology.

In many of the ways that lead to the different cities and municipalities of the state, you will find natural places that invite to be discovered and put you into the adventure.
